Sold as Pet  (Unaltered) - The buyer must spay/neutered before 6 months of age and present the seller with proof of this procedure or contract will be voided. Aftar presentation of paperwork the seller will provide the buyer with CFA registration papers for the kitten.

PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:

Buyer agrees that this kitten/cat may not be declawed, and understands that declawing is a multation and a cruelty that is likely to alter the kittens temperament and health. Instead of declawing the buyer agrees to keep the kitten/cat's toenails trimmed regularly, and to supply the kitten/cat with proper scratching materials and suitable training.

Buyer accepts the responsibility of caring for the kitten/cat and will provide properly for its welfare. The Buyer will never deny the kitten/cat medical/vet treatment. Buyer agrees to keep the kitten/cat indoors at all times in a clean and pleasant environment, not caged, and with proper nutrition, health care (including yearly veterinarian examinations and vaccinations),  companionship, and adequate space for exercise.  The above kitten/cat is only allowed outdoors while on a leash and while under close supervision.  Buyer agrees to provide a suitable warm place for the kitten/cat at all times. Sphynx are more chilled than some other breeds due to the lack of fur.  Buyer agrees to provide weekly baths, ear cleanings along with daily eye cleaning (as required).

Seller agrees to provide CFA registration papers for this kitten/cat purchased as a "breeder"  upon picking up/delivery or in a timely manner. The cost of registration is the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Said Registration form/papers for kitten/cats purchased as 'pets' will be marked "NOT FOR BREEDING".  If kitten/cat is purchased as a "pet" and not spayed/neutered by the seller prior to being picked up/delivered to the buyer in no form or fashion can the buyer portray said kitten/cat as a registered breeder, or breed the said kitten/cat for profit on any litter.  CFA pedigree will not be given to any buyer of a "pet" until said kitten/cat has been spayed/neutered and proof of such from a veterinarian is provided to the seller.  It is the buyers responsibility to cover the expense of the said kitten/cat purchased as a "pet" to be neutered/spayed whether it be in the seller/buyers care at that time.

If at any time during the lifetime of the cat, the purchaser is unable to keep the cat or needs to place it, the cat will be returned to breeder at no charge or place in a new home within written permission of breeder. The cat/ kitten will be current on all recommended vaccination before placement. The breeder promises the kitten to be free of FELV and FIV at time of sale. This guarantee becomes null if cat comes in contact with another cat before testing.

HEALTH GUARANTEE
Each kitten is guaranteed to be healthy for up to 72 hours from time of arrival/ purchase. It should be kept quarantined and examined by veterinarian within 3 days of purchase. If a health defect is diagnosed, the breeder is to be notified and a letter / fax sent by the examining veterinarian. In the eventuality, the cat/kitten will be replaced with another of equal value upon return of the original cat.

If a replacement is unavailable at the time, the breeder reserves the right to furnish the buyer with such cat within 6 months (or a time frame agreed upon by both). Should a life threatening genetic defect be diagnosed within 1 year of purchase, the same option is available.

The replacement clauses is voided by a delay in the health exam or by exposure to cats not recently tested for Felv/FIV.

The breeder is not responsible for cats lost or stolen after acceptance by the Buyer

Please Note: It is understood that the degree of hairlessness of the Sphynx varies from cat to cat and sometime from season to season. No Sphynx is truly completely hairless. Hormones and genetics play an important roll in degree of hairlessness and even though a kitten may be almost hairless when it is sold it is possible that the kitten could develop some hair after being neutered/spayed or as it grows older. It is impossible to guarantee that any Sphynx cat/ kitten will not grow hair at some point in time..

Any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract will be brought in Kings County, NY USA. BUYER shall be liable for any court costs and related charges including attorney’s fees associated with SELLER enforcing the terms of this contract. In signing this document, BUYER acknowledges that he / she has read, fully understands, and agrees to ALL of the terms and conditions stated above. The laws of the State of NY shall be controlling.
